It was the most complicated time of my life. I didn't know that it would be the start of the happiest time in my life. My cousin invited me and my best friend Ace to a bar. So we dressed up (I was a little boyish at that time, so i wear boyish clothes). Ace is a lesbian. I met her when i joined the basketball team at our school in college. Ever since, we have treated each other like sisters (I love her dearly). So, let’s go back to my story. As we were about to go, Yeng my cousin, told us to wait because someone’s picking us up. So we waited. Then at one moment that i couldn't explain, i felt really nervous. My hands were cold. We heard a knock on the door, Yeng opened it. There he was, Yeng's friend from high school, John. I had this major crush on him way way back before. I was totally speechless. I didn't expect to see him because I know he was studying in Manila at that time. So, that explains my sudden nervousness. I tried to keep my cool as we were going towards her car. I am very silent throughout the night. I discovered that he hasn't changed. He has become this very popular guy in their school. He's the star player of the basketball team at a very prestigious school. And yet, he is still so humble and incredibly gorgeous. As the night was about to end, John took us all home. We were just casual all night so i thought we were all going straight home. But he said, wait i want to hear you sing. Yeng said you're a really good singer. I blushed... And again, no words were coming out from my mouth. So John decided we go to a videoke place. We circled the city but all places were closed. I felt relieved. Yes! We are finally going home, but then he said, I won't go home if i don't get to hear you sing. So, all of them we're teasing the two of us cause he was also blushing. Yeng and Ace, told me, sing already, what would you lose? He wants to hear your voice... So, i sang... And he kept on staring at me. As if I was going to melt. Then he held my hand and said, wow, your voice makes me fall in love with you. I just smiled. Finally John took us all home. When we were getting near our house. He went down of his car and shouted, Nicole, can I kiss you? I ran.... I felt really stupid, but that's what I did....
